Runyange Pasteur, recipient of the inaugural Marie Claudine Mwizerwa Scholarship

L.I.F.E. For Health provides funding for post-secondary education for impoverished students in Rwanda and the Philippines. The Dr. Honorata Migriño-Stephenson Scholarship allows poor scholars in the Philippines to attend post-secondary school, while the Marie Claudine Mwizerwa Scholarship enables young Rwandan genocide survivors to attend post-secondary school.

Education is among the most sustainable, long-term impacts one can make.  By investing in the education of children and youth, one is developing the next generation to be confident and capable citizens.  The goal should be for a country or region to not require international development assistance for education, but until they can provide it all for themselves, there is a role for L.I.F.E. For Health in supporting the education of impoverished youth.
